| Lisa's educational background
is a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and she worked as a Neonatal Intensive
Care Nurse for over 10 years. When she and her husband bought their first home in
1986 she also became an avid gardener. Shortly after starting her family she became
a stay at home mom; her gardens multiplied immensely and they became her creative
outlet. The flowers she grew inspired her art. The different patterns, textures, forms
and colors of each individual flower and leaf intrigued and mesmerized her. She found
them both energizing yet calming; invigorating yet soothing. She tries to capture
this in her art.
